Subcontractor management involves scheduling, co-ordinating, and controlling the work of any third parties to a programme of works. This is typical in large scale engineering projects, and also the norm in large EPC and Construction Programmes. One of the key reasons for poor project schedule performance, and for procurement cost overruns is a lack of sub contractor visibility.
