A Global Capability Centre is an offshore/ distributed delivery centre set-up by a multinational to consolidate tasks such as engineering, R&D, It, or finance for operations spanning across the world. Typically GCCs have very diverse teams spread across geographies, which create the complex, non-trivial challenge of having an uniform governance model, ensuring compliance, timesheet submission and getting visibility over processes in real-time which is not the case with a one location delivery centre model.
