Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

Accounts receivable (AR) is the practice of tracking money a company is owed by clients, as determined at the point a product has been delivered to the point of cash has been collected. A services firm’s accounts receivable balance would grow directly in tandem with milestones and timesheets completed for projects, meaning an aging of the accounts receivable would likely signify some sort of upstream problems in approvals, billing, or revenue recognition.
