About the Role:
A player-manager role leading Kytes’ analytics function – owning customer-facing insights delivery, internal team
leadership, and the strategic BI roadmap. You’ll need equal parts technical depth, customer-facing confidence,
and people management maturity.
Duties and Responsibilities::
Customer Engagement
- Own analytics engagements end-to-end for enterprise accounts – from requirements discovery to
dashboard delivery - Be the primary analytics contact for key customers; run workshops, present findings to CXOs and
Operations Heads - Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and continuous iteration on solutions
Internal Stakeholder Management
- Align analytics priorities with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales
- Drive customer analytics gaps into the product roadmap
- Partner with Sales/Customer Success to identify analytics led upsell opportunities
Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Analysts / BI Developers
- Set goals, run 1:1s, manage delivery bandwidth, and build team capability
- Define quality standards, documentation practices, and team processes
Analytics Strategy & Execution
- Own the analytics roadmap – dashboard frameworks, data modelling standards, and advanced analytics
initiatives - Ensure Power BI delivery is performant, scalable, and enterprise-grade
- Drive adoption of predictive analytics and forecasting across platform and customer deliverables
- Maintain data quality, integrity, and governance across all outputs
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Analytics Engineering
- 4 to 6 years in a lead/senior/manager capacity (team or customer facing)
- B2B SaaS product background; Enterprise IT Services or Pharma exposure is a strong plus
- Proven experience in team management and coordination.
Technical
- Power BI/Tableau – advanced data modelling, DAX, RLS, deployment pipelines, performance
optimization - SQL – complex joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization
- Excel – Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas
- Python (Pandas, NumPy) – working proficiency for EDA and analytics automation is a plus
Analytics
- Strong business acumen – translate ambiguous problems into KPIs, metrics, and insights stories
- Statistics fundamentals – regression, distributions, hypothesis testing
- Predictive analytics experience – time-series forecasting, clustering, anomaly detection
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ELT/ETL concepts
Soft Skills
- Communicates complex analytics clearly to non-technical and CXO level audiences
- Strong stakeholder management – navigates ambiguity, aligns competing priorities
- Empathetic people manager with direct, growth oriented leadership style
