About the Role:
We are looking for a Market Research Trainee who will support the research and marketing teams in identifying potential markets, analyzing industry trends, and generating qualified leads. This role is ideal for individuals who are curious, analytical, and interested in learning about market intelligence, business research, and lead generation in a SaaS environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and analyzing potential markets, industries, and customer segments.
- Conduct market research using surveys, industry reports, online databases, and other research tools.
- Support the development of strategies to identify and attract high-quality leads.
- Collect, organize, and maintain data related to potential leads and target companies.
- Assist in evaluating and qualifying leads based on predefined criteria.
- Maintain and update lead databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support lead generation campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
- Prepare basic research reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Support lead nurturing initiatives and marketing outreach activities.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of research and lead generation efforts.
Technical Skills Required:
- Basic understanding of market research methodologies.
- Familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets for data organization and analysis.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems and marketing tools (preferred).
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
